![]() LINKING TO THIS SITE
This
site is 'link-free', which means that you can post a link to it on your
site without asking for permission first. Please link ONLY to the main
page at (http://www.chthonian.net/persona/oracle/) and NOT to any of the inside
pages, especially individual pages of the script. I've provided a
banner if you'd like to use it. Please upload to your
own server - do not link from this one!
Joker-sama's Persona 2 information site. If you need
FAQs, character information, mythology information, fansite links, blah blah blah etc etc, this is where
you want to go. The reason you aren't finding any FAQs that relate to
summoning, contacting, or gameplay on this site is because all
of that information is on the AoW. The Oracle of Maiya and the Allegory
of Whatever are sister sites; we suggest you use them in conjunction to
maximize your P2:IS playing experience. ![]()
Dolies'
Tsumi x Batsu is another great resource for Innnocent Sin players. Much
kowtowing is in order -- I don't know that any of the people who
created the AoW or the OoM could have been quite as successful in their
endeavors without the help of this site. And her art is so cute, too! ![]()
Weekly
Fool-est is an amazing collection of FAQs and guides for MegaTen and
Persona games. You'll have to click on the link for P2:IS on the
left-hand side - it's the 9th link from the top. The site is entirely in Japanese,
though, so you will need to have a certain amount of Japanese
competency before it will be of any use to you. I'm posting the link
here mainly because I love the site so much, and use it so
heavily. Most, if not all of the information on this site for P2:IS can
be found in English on either the AoW or on Tsumi x Batsu.
Just A Rumor An interesting look into the mythological, psychological, and occult weirdness that is Persona. Applies to both IS and EP. Kuzunoha Detective Agency Has some lovely forums populated by MegaTen fans new and old. ![]()
Okay, so
this isn't a Persona link, but every single one of the Masquerade
Executives supports and agrees with this campaign. And really, is there
a reason why you shouldn't support it too? Persona 2: Innocent Sin Character Selector Which P2:IS character are you most like? Just for fun.
Playing
a game in Japanese, even with a translation handy, requires you to know
this and that about the source language. We assume that you know
hiragana and katakana before you play the game; otherwise, we hope
you're willing to learn over the course of playing. If you're totally
stuck on something, you can turn to the forums for help, in the
Translation section. Please don't email the individual translators and
ask them to teach you Japanese. None of them have the time or interest
to become a Japanese teacher.Anyway, here are some useful Internet
resources for people interested in the language side of Innocent Sin: Here are omniglot.com's hiragana and katakana charts. The kanji origins of the characters are also indicated, though you certainly don't need to know those in order to learn hiragana and katakana. Learn Basic Japanese There are no lessons on this site, just charts. But regardless, it's a great resource for beginning learners of the language. There are hiragana and katakana charts, basic vocabulary words, some very useful beginning kanji charts, and color-coded sentence diagrams that will help you learn how the different components of sentences come together. The romanizing on this site is done a little bit differently than you might be used to, but it's just a different system, not misspellings. (The site is run by a Japanese person, so the English is a little bit funky in places.) Japanese Online 16 basic lessons that will get you started in understanding the foundations of the Japanese language. There's not a whole lot of grammar explanations, but the simple sentences and translations will help you get a grasp of how sentences come together and words are pronounced. Jeffrey's Japanese - English Dictionary The best online Japanese dictionary for beginning to advanced learners, hands down. You can use this whether or not you have Japanese font support on your computer, you can enter romaji to search for words, and the site also includes a helpful kanji database with all of those rare, 20 stroke characters that Atlus loves so dearly. It allows you to search Japanese - English or English - Japanese. Highly recommended. |
