MAYA: It looks like Ulala's here. We need to stop by the boxing gym and tell her to evacuate.

???: Ciao, Ma-ya! How come you've got a bunch of high school kids with you? Doesn't seem like you're here for the boxing...
(Ulala Serizawa: Maya's good friend who works for a womens' lingerie company. She is a spirited cosmetic fiend who likes to help other people. She worries about her bad luck with men.)
MAYA: Well, you see...
ULALA: Huh? Stop talking nonsense. There aren't bombs here.
MAYA: I guess there's nothing I can do if you don't believe me, but I'm telling the truth! There's no time to waste, so hurry and run away!
[Ulala goes back to punching; the bag breaks and something falls out. Eikichi approaches it.]
EIKICHI: Seriously?
EIKICHI: Hm? What's this?
LISA: Aiya! That's one of the ignition devices for the bombs, isn't it?
ULALA: So it's really true that there are explosives set up here? Ma-ya, explain things one more time!
MAYA: Look, I said that we don't have any time! To put it bluntly, the ones who set this up are an organization called The Masquerade!
ULALA: The Masquerade?
ULALA: All I know about that organization is the name. Makimura talked about it a lot. Is he planning to kill me this time?!
ULALA: It seems that the time has come for these well-trained fists to to be put to use...he stole the money that I had worked so hard to save, but I'm not gonna let him have my life as well!
MAYA: She ran off. Well, at least she’s gone.
MAYA: For the time being, now that we know this is the next target, we can't waste a second. Let's get our butts moving and search for the transmitter!

EIKICHI: I can't compete with that babe's power. I thought that the only reason a lady would be boxing was for diet purposes, but she's serious about it.
LISA: I wonder if there's a Jeet Kune Do class here? Did you know, Tatsuya? Jeet Kune Do is the first invented martial arts method! [1]
MAYA: Whenever anyone talks about that guy, she completely flies off the handle! But can you blame her? He was a marriage con artist!
YUKINO: That was a great punch she had... after this is all said and done, I'd definitely like to spar with her at least once.

[Start to leave the gym. A staff member will stop you.]
GOLD STAFF: Wait a minute!
GOLD STAFF: Is it true that this fitness club is set up to explode?
GOLD STAFF: So this club too has been designated as a target of the terrorist bombers...I just can't take this anymore! I've got to get everyone to evacuate this place!

[He shoves Maya out of the way just before a barbell falls from the ceiling.]
MAYA: A barbell? They're really not kidding... if this fell on someone, they'd probably get killed!
MAYA: Thanks, Tatsuya-kun! I'm really grateful.

[Trainer Room, second floor]
[Talk to Lisa; the locker door blows off.]
LISA: Keh he! This is really pissing me off! I'm never gonna forgive those Masquerade bastards! I'll kick their asses with my fatal Vacuum Quick-Drop Kick!

[Equipment Room, second floor]
TATSUYA: !
[A weight machine drops from the ceiling. Eikichi catches it, then falls down, swirly-eyed, but gets back up.]
EIKICHI: Ow... Suou, when this happened to Maya-nee, you saved her, so how come you didn't save me? 
[If you talk to Lisa, she finds a pair of bikini underwear and speculates about Tatsuya wearing them. She doesn't like the thought of that.]

[Men's Staff Room, third floor]
[The party enters, opens a locker, and finds the transmitter alongside the Oracle.]
MAYA: You found it? Wow! Nice job, Tatsuya-kun! Okay, now let's hurry up and break it!
[Tatsuya breaks it with his sword. As soon as this happens, a man in a tan shirt comes in, sees the party, and runs away.]
LISA: Who was that?
YUKINO: Most likely a civilian who hadn’t evacuated, and he saw us and ran away because he didn't want us to know.
EIKICHI: Yeah, but there's also a big possibility that he's one of the Masquerade's assassins assigned to keep an eye on that transmitter! Let's follow him, Suou!

[Boxing Gym]
EIKICHI: Here he is! Why did you run away when you saw us, you dumbass! Are you in the Masquerade?
GOOD-LOOKING MAN: Run away? Please, don't misunderstand me. All I did was lead you to a place where we could talk.
YUKINO: Well, isn't that nice. If you willingly answer all of our questions, then we'll be able to finish things quickly.
GOOD-LOOKING MAN: That's too bad, courageous girl. I wish I could have met you under different circumstances. Unfortunately, this is also the work of Fate.
GOOD-LOOKING MAN: This is an order from the Queen: All of you, die!
[The man begins to summon a Persona. Ulala enters the room. He looks surprised and stops.]
MAYA: Ulala! You didn't run away?
GOOD-LOOKING MAN: H-honey? I… I missed you! Not a single day has passed where I’ve forgotten about you!
ULALA: Now that I've found you here, this is the end! I'm gonna make you realize just how much I hate you for running off with my marriage savings!
[Ulala also begins summoning a Persona and chases the man out of the gym.]
MAYA: So Ulala is a Persona user! I had no idea...
EIKICHI: Persistent women sure are scary... a beautiful boy like myself might have also made some girl somewhere cry...
EIKICHI: You and I had both better be careful, Suou.
[Everyone giggles at him.]
YUKINO: Okay, Suou. What kind of Oracle is written on the card this time?
LISA: "I'm waiting at the Air Museum in Konan. --King Leo"
LISA: This isn't the Oracle! The name of the next target is written on here!
YUKINO: I've got a bad feeling about this--it's that King Leo guy. Do you think this is a trap?
MAYA: Even if it is a trap, there's no mistake about the location. It looks like they intend to have a final showdown...
MAYA: I can't be scared any longer... I won't run away. Let's go, everyone!

LISA: You know how that King guy wears a mask? I bet he does that 'cause he's ugly! He's trying to hide his face.
EIKICHI: Ginko is right, you know. Traditionally, villains are always ugly. Well, so is everybody, compared to me.
MAYA: I'm not sure why, but I feel like I know King's real face. I just can't remember...I feel like we've met before.
YUKINO: Who cares what he looks like? We're gonna kick his ass! He's the worst kind of guy there is!

YUKINO: The game is nearing a close, since King Leo didn't give us a piece of the Oracle this time around. He's getting serious. We should be careful. 
MAYA: King Leo's not going to leave us alone. You've already seen the burn on my hand. I'm sure he's aiming for us... yeah, I'm still scared. When I see those flames, my body freezes. Heh. I'm pathetic.
LISA: I hope Maya-san's okay... but she's got us! So long as we're together, we'll make it through.
EIKICHI: For Ginko to say something like that... Hell must’ve frozen over... no, the sky’s falling or something.

MAYA: Don't tell me you were worried, too, Tatsuya-kun! I'm fine now! I'm not so weak as to give up over such a small thing.
LISA: King Leo's definitely going to use those flames again... will Maya-san be okay?
EIKICHI: Maya-nee, I think she's forcing herself... okay, then! I'll become a knight in shining in armor to defend the lady! Only we can protect Maya-nee.
YUKINO: Heh heh, it's funny. You guys are acting just like my friends from high school. I feel like I've gone back in time.

MAYA: For some reason, I'm great at these games! I never understand the rules, but I end up winning anyway.
YUKINO: This is just between you and me, but Maya-san sucks at rock-paper-scissors. She always uses 'scissors.' You should try it sometime.
LISA: Say, Tatsuya. How about we spread the rumor about this being a casino? It'd be fun!
EIKICHI: Gambling is strictly prohibited at my school. It's a part of school regulation, of course, but I lay down the law. School's not a place to play with money.

LISA: Look, Tatsuya. That lady is acting weird.
MASQUERADE MEMBER: Joker-sama gave me fortune! He granted me my dreams! I became happy! So why do I feel so sad? Ah... it's strange... I feel as though there's a hole in my chest. I'll destroy this store!
EIKICHI: What good will that do? You forgot about your own son, Takeshi! But he did it to make you rich... Joker, you're too cruel. 
YUKINO: That woman is a member of the Masquerade? So that's why she was so influenced by the city's rumors...
MAYA: Eikichi-kun must be suffering...he can't bear to think of Takeshi. That boy couldn't have wished for things to turn out this way....

LISA: Asacchi and Miipo used to come here all the time. They'd go through the clothing together, saying that this was cute or that was pretty....
EIKICHI: Um... say, Suou, go talk to Ginko. You’ll cheer her up. She seems depressed.
MAYA: Those two girls seem to have come here often; when Ginko entered the store she suddenly became upset.
YUKINO: Looks like Rengendai won't be targeted. That's one good thing--no! I won't let him burn anything more! I'll stop it all!

LISA: I wish there was some medicine that'd cure the Shadow People. If there were, I could save Asacchi and Miipo...
EIKICHI: What's Ginko going on about? I don't believe it. I'll save them.
MAYA: Let's see... it says if you drink this, you'll become a hundred times more energetic. Refresh... Satomin Z? Oh, this one is the extra strength version? These days people can't live without medicine... don't you think that’s kinda sad? 
YOUNG MAN: These arsonists are indiscriminate, aren't they? That means that this might be their next target... Urgh. I'm so worried that my stomach hurts... I should be strong, but I'm scared...
YUKINO: It's like he said--it's indiscriminate bombing! This is just King Leo's games!

LISA’S DAD: There are so many explanations for who the terrorists are, but it's all nonsense. There's no chance that they're the Last Battalion!
YUKINO: The Last Battalion? Weren't they Hitler's elite forces?
MAYA: Last Battalion? Come to think of it, that Sevens teacher called us that, at the outdoor concert...
LISA: If even Dad knows about it, it's a well-spread rumor. Does anybody not believe in it?
EIKICHI: Now they're talking about the Last Battalion. When people panic, they forget all sense and reason.

YUKINO: Whenever we come here everyone gets depressed--you get quiet and thoughtful. What happened?
OLD LADY: I was surprised; why does that blue boy know my name?

YOUTH: How do I put this--I saw this girl in a strange getup run out of SMILE Hirasaka, yelling something like, "I won't forget this!"

EIKICHI: Suou... you see it, too, don't you. They're getting darker and darker... they don't even talk anymore. It's hopeless; there's nothing I can do.
MAYA: Eikichi-kun, snap out of it! They're here and they're still alive! Even silent, they still live! Don't give up just because of one tiny set-back! So long as there's a chance, you can't give up. You're the only one who can help!
YUKINO: This is the form of the people who've lost their ability to dream... people like that--how do they go on?

MASQUERADE MEMBER: The SMILE Hirasaka building was spared, but the terrorists won't stop until everyone in town is dead. I wonder what next will burn down? Heh heh heh…
LISA: Aiya...they all turned out to be Masquerade members.
YUKINO: Geez, just listen to them! What if they had been caught in the fire? Would they still be smiling? 
EIKICHI: Everyone keeps going on about how the Masquerade is evil, so of course it turned out that way. This rumor business sucks.
MAYA: There are a lot people in the Masquerade, right? But we can't think of everyone in the city as being criminals. I'm not so much scared of rumors becoming reality as of the ease with which people make rumors... humans are like that.

LISA: I'm glad SMILE Hirasaka didn't burn down. But I'm getting scared... I mean, there were still people in there! If we hadn't stopped them, people might have died! King Leo is insane, absolutely crazy!
YUKINO: I want to know more about this Oracle. Is there some reason why he's following it? Well, no matter what it is, it's crazy.
MAYA: He was like that at the outdoor concert. King Leo has his timetable, and everybody else be damned. He just listens to the voices in his head, following the Oracle without question... he's far more dangerous than the Joker.
EIKICHI: If what Maya-nee is saying is true, then that means King Leo thinks the Oracle is more important than human lives. Fuck that!
OLD MAN HEALED BY CHIROPRACTICS: Masquerade, huh. As a kid I used to put on a mask and play in the shrine and mountain... I used to pretend to be the bad guys. It brings back memories.

EIKICHI: First the Masquerade, now the group of five terrorists... geez, everyone is happily whipping up rumors.
MAYA: No matter what they say, King Leo is the culprit. If we defeat him, then all the other rumors will fade.
LISA: Why are the people in the city making up rumors about the criminals? They'll just get more anxious. I'm shocked.
YUKINO: It can't be helped--they're spreading all these rumors out of fear. But I think Lisa's right, too.

TADASHI: The ones who tried to take down SMILE Hirasaka were a group of five terrorists, I'm sure of it! They're the ones behind all this!
EIKICHI: Ixquic, was it? What's a runt like that doing in the Masquerade? She felt like a really young kid.
LISA: But she had her own set of lower-level demons and a Persona--would that indicate she's an Executive?
MAYA: I got the feeling that girl was misled. She's not a bad kid, I'm sure of it.

EIKICHI: Is it just me, or are the city's rumors running more and more amuck? They're saying that it's a group of five young terrorists.
LISA: There are rumors about the Last Battalion, too--at this rate, the people are just going to get even more upset.
MAYA: Because people are worried, they come up with explanations for the attacks, and by coming up with explanations, they get even more upset. It's a vicious cycle.
YUKINO: Suou, will you talk to Fujii for me? Try to convince him not to go on the photo shoot.
FUJII: Yukki put you up to this, huh. I'm going to the mountains soon for a photo shoot, but no matter what I say, Yukki's still worried. Even if the terrorists haven't been caught yet, I doubt that they're going to burn a mountain down. Well, if they're looking for natural beauty, then that's another story.

KATSUYA: For crying out loud, nothing at all has changed from the past. The world goes into chaos, and all sorts of ridiculous rumors are spread. What's up with this Last Battalion?
KATSUYA: It's obvious the criminals witnessed at the scene were a group of five terrorists. Don't be fooled by such idiotic rumors.

WOMAN IN LOVE: That detective... I wonder what his name is... ah, those glasses look so good on him, too... and he's got that sharp gaze...
WOMAN IN LOVE: Oh ho ho... when he looked at me, it seemed serious. Hey, you don't happen to know his name?

MAYA: I can't believe it! Since when has Ulala used Persona? She chased after him... is she okay?
EIKICHI: That Ulala-san... she's more violent than I expected. I guess it ain't true what they say about names matching the person. [2]
LISA: Now that I've met Ulala-san, I've gotta say that Maya-san's friends are weird.
YUKINO: What's that supposed to mean? Does she mean me, too?

[2] "Ulala" means "beautiful" and "lovely," so Eikichi is saying that she's violent despite her name's meaning.

MAYA: The Air Museum was only recently constructed. At first people complained, saying that it didn't fit the region's atmosphere, but now it has a lot of customers. Oh, no. Today's a weekday, right? I've got a bad feeling about this…

YUKINO: The blimp's gonna take flight? Even kids have their dreams. It almost makes me jealous.
