STUFF THAT DOESN'T SEEM TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE
We have a couple of things we'd like to say about this page.

This page is a labor of love, made by several people who probably should have been doing something more productive with their time. As such, we're really very protective of our work, and we would appreciate it if you'd respect the time and Ideal Energy we put into this. So before you take something, or repost it somewhere: ASK. It's courteous, and I promise not to turn you into a Shadow Person.

Who are you?

That over there is Kya, aka King Leo. She's responsible for channeling the denpa and coordinating the game translation. She also was the main game translator, so she helped me with everything I couldn't understand. I don't understand the Maiyan aliens anywhere near as well as she does.
I'm Priya, aka Joker-sama. I was the first Megaten whore in this little group, so I suppose that makes me leader of the Masquerade. I'm the creator of this page, ably assisted by Leo-kun. Really, insane minions are the way to go.

Are you sure? :D However, if you catch something that's obviously wrong, let me know, would you? There are a couple of things that I know aren't 100% correct - technically Baofu's name is Paofuu (yep, I guess the US translators read the "pa" as a "ba" on their screen..it's so easy to do...or they switched it to an alternate reading that's closer to Chinese; I have no idea) and things like that.

This layout's boring. Too much white space. Why don't you make a nicer layout?

.....very well. I'll spend more of my extremely limited online time on designing a fancy, slow-loading, graphics-heavy layout with all the latest DHTML tricks and designing fads, and spend less time on putting content in the page. Where are my priorities?

WHY is this page called "The Allegory of Whatever"?

Um. Well, let's see if I can remember where this came from. I believe I was playing Tsumi with a friend, trying to explain what the hell was going on with my faulty knowledge of Japanese. My faithful bitch Leo-kun was still in Japan at the time, and we were talking to her on the phone while playing. So she heard me say something like this:

"So, like, Philemon takes the form of a butterfly because the butterfly is a symbol of the psyche, and he wears a mask because the word "persona" means mask, and it's all part of the allegory of....whatever..."

She burst into laughter, and there you go.

All I can say in my defense is that it was very late and I was tired and you wouldn't believe the way Philemon talks.

Leo-kun says that I was actually saying something like, "And then Hitler turns into Nyarly, blah blah, and he's talking about hate or something, blah blah blah, and your parents, and the allegory of stuff, you know, whatever..."

Pick the version that's more amusing, then. :D
