THE ORACLE OF MAIYA
as channeled by Sudou Tatsuya

In the twinkling stars of the Pleiades,
Stopped time begins to move;
Dance of pleasure, Feast of shadows,
Song of a foreign land, the flames of Atonement light the Heavens.
The lion's roar echoes far and wide...
The five skulls that shine in Hell..
The Holy Cross shines in the Heavens...
The moment the stars stop rising in the sky...
The beat of the Maiyan Maiden also ceases...
Paradise remains above earth...
And time winds backwards...

OK, let's do this systematically.

In the twinkling stars of the Pleiades, stopped time begins to move: The clock in 
the clock tower at Seven Sisters High School, that has been stopped ever since 
Mr. Kashihara died, starts moving again.

Dance of Pleasure: The Masquerade Ball is held at Kasugayama High School, 
and Lady and King steal the Ideal Energy from the students.

Feast of Shadows: Again, the Masquerade Ball at Kasu High.

Song of a Foreign Land: The MUSES' debut single, "JOKER," was originally 
supposed to have an English solo for Lisa. Instead, she says the Oracle of 
Maiya as a bridge, and THAT is the "Song of a Foreign Land" - although in this
case, the "foreign land" is the Pleiades.

The flames of  Atonement light the heavens: Leo says at one point that he's 
supposed to "start the Flames Of The Atonement at the points indicated by 
the constellations." So his destruction of the Concert Hall, Gold, Air Museum, 
and Smile Hirasaka is the lighting of the Flames of The Atonement. (Think 
Christian mythology for "The Atonement," BTW...)

The Lion's Roar echoes far and wide: This refers to the Leonid Meteor Shower 
that occurs when you finish Mt. Iwato and the Last Battalion invades Sumaru 
City. You can sometimes hear meteors as they burn through the sky.

The five skulls that shine in Hell: These are the elemental crystal skulls 
that were in the four Zodiac Houses. The fifth one was being kept by Hitler 
in Xibalba (Xibalba was the name of the Mayan underworld).

The Holy Cross shines in the Heavens: At the time of the Grand Cross.

The moment the stars stop rising: The earth literally stops spinning at the moment 
of the Grand Cross, so the "stars stop rising" in the sky.

The beat of the Maiyan Maiden also ceases: Amano Maya, the Maiyan Maiden, 
is killed by Okamura Maya, the Crazy Maiden.

Paradise remains above earth: The world is destroyed, and only Sumaru City - 
"Idealian" - is left, floating on Xibalba above the destroyed earth.

And time winds backwards: Philemon resets time.
