MEMBERS OF STN-J SENA ROBIN [ 瀬名　ロビン ] Age: 15 Hunter Class: A (at least) Partner: Amon BOC: Espresso Ah, our heroine. A Witch-Hunter - born in Japan, raised in Italy, with the caffeine habit of someone three times her age. For reasons known only to herself, she tends to wear extremely Victorian full-length bustled skirts, and ties up her hair into something that disturbingly resembles handlebars. She's also rather amazingly obsessed with Amon, if you go by the opening sequence, where she presses herself up against a TV where his image is shown. But all joking aside, Robin is a young Witch-Hunter sent to Japan from Italy to replace Amon's partner. Her parents died in an accident, and she's been raised by Father Juliano in Italy since she was 4 years old. She's a firestarter, but apparently her vision dims when she exerts her power - meaning that she has to wear glasses if she intends to fight. She's a quiet, rather nice teenager who wants to fit in and be accepted by her new comrades - in particular by Amon - but she has her own agenda for joining STN-J...(SPOILERS (highlight to read):Robin is something of a mole; she's been sent by SOLOMON to retrieve the "ultimate technique" of Witchcraft. But as she interacts with the Witches, her own hidden powers start to emerge, and she realizes that she can control any of the elements, not just fire. She becomes confused about the distinction between "Craft-User" and "Witch," and soon after she realizes that she's a Witch, she becomes paranoid that Amon will find out and kill her. But he rescues her when SOLOMON infiltrates STN-J to Hunt her, and she's left with Nagira as a bike messenger. Clad in skintight biking spandex and a magic helmet that can accomodate her unique hairstyle, she continues to investigate the true nature of Witches and to unravel the secret of her own past. Eventually she learns that she's the ultimate witch - a "designer witch" created by SOLOMON's genetic engineering. Her father, Toudou, was a researcher for SOLOMON, and her mother was Father Juliano's daughter - and a Witch. Toudou reveals in a video file that he'd intended Robin to become the Eve of Witches, to restore the legacy of Witches. Robin disappears from sight after the end of FACTORY, and is probably off somewhere with her sugar-daddy Amon, who has assigned himself the task of "keeping an eye on her." Riiiight.) AMON [ 亜門 ] Age: 25 Hunter Class: S? Presumably? Partner: Sena Robin BOC: Coffee He's so dimly-lit all the time because he's Brooding and Mysterious and stuff. Union rules, you know. He's tall, dark, and handsome, broods prettily, and wears a black trenchcoat. Fangirl bait. Wow. Anyways, Amon is Robin's assigned partner when she joins STN-J. He's supposed to train her, but he broods and skulks around, he leaves without her, and refuses to pay much attention to her, except when he randomly decides to help her, as when he gives her glasses. He's described as a cold-hearted pro, and when Robin hears rumors that he'd willingly Hunted his last partner, it's quite possible (in everyone's mind) that he'd Hunt her too if her powers became uncontrollable. (SPOILERS (highlight to read):But of course, Amon is A Good Guy and would never betray a comrade, as he explains to Robin when he rescues her from SOLOMON and sends her into hiding with his brother, Nagira. He's just pissed off at the world and at Witches in particular because his mother was a Witch, and because of that, his family was torn apart - when his mother was Hunted, I assume. Amon is possibly a Witch himself, unlike Nagira, who apparently didn't inherit the gene or is only a half-brother. So Amon's hatred of Witches is more personal than any of his teammates'. In the end, he disappears in the ruins of FACTORY with Robin - if Robin is the Eve of Witches, Amon is presumably the Adam, age differences be damned!) SAKAKI HARUTO [ 榊　晴人 ] Age: 17 Hunter Class: B Partner: Karasuma Miho BOC: Coffee, apparently Haruto is the whipping boy for the entire show. If any sort of nasty Craft is used, it'll be targeted at Haruto. If any evil Plots are afoot, Haruto will be first to go. But despite all this, he apparently is in no way an inferior Witch Hunter; he's class B, the same as Robin was before her glasses and, well, the rest of the series. His trademarks are his motorcycle and his tendency to act before he thinks. Typical teenage boy, really. DOUJIMA YURIKA [ 堂島　百合香 ] Age: 18 Hunter Class: D Partner: None BOC: Unknown She looks like a ditz, acts like a princess - and yet, she turned out to be far more useful and interesting than I had initially thought. Doujima is from a wealthy family, and her talents are more underdeveloped than actually inferior, due to her slacker attitude. Her parents' influence apparently got her this position with STN-J. (SPOILERS (highlight to read):Yurika turns out to be yet ANOTHER of the moles in STN-J; she's a SOLOMON operative sent to find out more about the Orbo used by the Hunters in their humane Witch-Hunts. I hadn't seen that one coming at all; she played the dumb broad role so well. She acts a bit like an older sister to Robin, and is actually useful in the days after the attack, when Robin and Amon have both disappeared.) KARASUMA MIHO [ 烏丸　美穂 ] Age: 19 Hunter Class: S Partner: Sakaki Haruto BOC: Coffee I'd always thought Karasuma was older than 19; she's got that power haircut and acts about a decade older than Haruto. But anyways, she's the responsible, level-headed girl whose powers are more emotional than physical. If she concentrates on an object or a place, she can sense any strong thoughts or emotions that someone had projected nearby. This isn't a perfect talent, though; if time has passed and the emotions are muddled, she can't get any clear information out of them. Overall, she's a stable, useful member of the team - even if she isn't really cut out for a leadership role, as events reveal. MICHAEL LEE [ マイケル　リー ] Age: 16 Hunter Class: 1337 H4X0R Partner: N/A BOC: Coffee Michael is the super-hacker of the group, down to his hacking mullet and tinted glasses. He was caught hacking into STN-J's computer system by Zaizen, and Zaizen offered him a job with the group in exchange for his life. Michael accepted, but the terms say that he can never leave the STN-J building without permission again. He forms an odd sort of bond with Robin, which makes sense - they're just about the same age, and she was actually willing to listen to him.
