The storehouse where Itsuki was imprisoned was attached to the Tsuchihara house. The only other reference to the family is the grave marker for the family that Mio has to visit to retrieve the Tsuchihara pinwheel crest. The Tsuchihara family crest is needed to open the sealed passageway in the Rotten Tree. Perhaps, like the Kiryuu and Osaka branches of the clan, the Tsuchihara had fallen into ruin long before the Repentance...? |
